my recent stay in uvita was made unforgettable by the stunning views and well-kept tropical gardens. from our junior suite, we enjoyed gorgeous ocean vistas and saw toucans right near the pool. the staff were incredibly friendly, making sure our group had everything we needed to relax.

ac was weak in the room.

the ac was weak. but the views are breathtaking with toucans often in sight. the pool is spacious and perfect for lounging. the friendly owners made dining a joy with delicious meals.

We had a Junior Suite, and it was super spacious and clean. The terrace was amazing, with views that made our mornings special. The room had a nice setup with a TV and A/C. Plenty of comfy seating. Honestly, it felt like a little paradise just chilling in there. Can't complain about anything. it met all our needs perfectly!

Staying at Cristal Ballena was incredible! We even set up a fantastic whale-watching trip through the hotel, which was a memorable experience for the whole family!

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities available during our stay.

The property feels a bit dated, reminiscent of the '80s, with a classic lift music vibe during breakfast. Hot water issues plagued us, with several cold showers despite claimed fixes, and the air conditioning was overly noisy during the first nights, making it hard to sleep. While the drinks were overpriced, the breakfast options fell short, especially the inedible pancakes, and the ghost town vibe from the spa was concerning.

The stay was wonderful, especially enjoying the enormous pool with breathtaking views of the ocean and jungle. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, providing a great start to the day. The private deck at the room was spacious and made for relaxing moments, although it could get quite hot in the afternoon sun.

Staying in a junior suite was awesome. Huge room with comfy beds and nice balcony overlooking lush gardens and ocean. The pool was beautiful and clean, perfect for a late-night swim. The staff were so helpful, even arranged our tours. The restaurant had delicious meals, especially the breakfast with fresh fruit and great coffee. Birdwatching right from our room was a bonus.

Request a top-floor room to enjoy the best views of the sunset and surrounding nature.
